Good handle, seems to be made extremely well, the handle part spins great as well and the knurling grip in the middle of your palm is superb plus for the price that I got it at it's well worth the money but I do have 1 complaint and that is at the end of your movement because this handle is wider than it is tall the back of the handle that connects with your cable will hit you right on the top of your wrist in comparison to the more square single handles like these I believe where the back of those handles will hit you slightly higher up your arm instead because this handle is more rectangular so I think the more square ones wouldn't hit you right in the back of the wrist so much so that's my only complaint about this single D handle but besides that this handle is well worth the low price for sure but just remember that it's wider than it is tall and the back of it can hit you on the top of your wrist at the end of your movements which could cause you pain after a while or potential injury if you're not careful but if you use gloves or wrist wraps that would probably eliminate this problem because then it most likely wouldn't cause you any pain really then because then you would be protecting your wrists better but I'm not removing any stars for that due to its extremely affordable cost.Like everyone else, I read the reviews and took a chance. I often do with Amazon because returns are free, but it’s still time out of your day. I’m strongly suggesting you move on. Avoid the impending return!Pros- It’s an inexpensive piece of equipment- It’s blackCons- Paint isn’t even- Knurling on one side is nearly non-existent due to paint build up- Perceived quality issues don’t lead to trusting your equipmentI own a commercial quality cable crossover set up with 250lb stacks. I don’t buy attachments because they’re pretty or shiny or because they look cool on a rack. I just need them to function properly and last a long time. I wanted a larger set of handles with rubber grips because I already had a pair of basic handles. I’ve been comparing prices for a while and decided to give these a shot. They are just what I wanted for a fair price. The brick and mortar gym supply stores around me are charging $40 a piece for these same handles. I sprayed a little silicone lubricant on them and they work fine. I included a picture of the new handles next to my old ones for comparison.This was an impulse buy as I was tired of using a towel to do T-bar rows. The price was a lot cheaper than a bunch of similar items which ultimately led to my purchase.It's got a little bit of weight to it and it's pretty well balanced. The welding on it is kind of suspect however. The Slag from the welds were not properly chipped away and cleaned instead it was simply painted over with silver paint. The "rubber" handles are really a hard low grade plastic that flakes off the tighter you grip it.So far it's survived 3 workouts with progressively heavier weight and everything seems to be holding up so far. I have not used it as a cable attachment but it does have a sizable hole in the middle for use on machines.Overall it's about what I expected for the price point and as long as it holds up I can overlook the lack of attention to detail.My husband was delighted with this product. He used this product at the health club in past times and was delighted to find this for our home gym during the pandemic. It is well made, sturdy, well priced and the handles are comfortable except being new those knurled might be a little uncomfortable for some. He likes it though. This product will probably out last our old home gym.The reason I bought this, is that the D shaped handle is deeper than other handles. So when I do crossovers, cable curls, or similar exercises, the handle misses my wrist bones, and touches farther down my wrist. That makes it much more comfortable to use than the cheaper handles with shallower handles. The rubber handle is well sized, and rotates well with some lube. Webbing based handles are also comfortable, but they fail from wear when under load - which isn't very safe. So I'll stick with this handle. As others mention, this handle isn't pretty up close. Welds are a bit ugly, plating not so good in places, and the D is not quite symmetrical. But from 3 feet away, it looks just fine. Add a little grease to lubricate it, and it works just fine too.This FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. When I go to the gym, I'm always looking for this attachment for the exercises I do with it but, I decided to get my own and I'm sooooo glad I did. This one will last a good 50 years I'm sure because it is perfect in every detail and has a superior grip.Very Nice indeed!Got this for a bargain £16.90, well built, does the jobDuring the COVID-19 problem, I realized that I needed a Double D handle for my PRECOR USA machine in my home gym set-up, to primarily do my back exercises, since it never came with the gym back when I bought it, and now my outside gym is closed.I found the CAP Double D here on Amazon, at a reasonable price point, so I ordered it and it came within 2 days on PRIME. Outstanding! I was very surprised at the quality of the piece, it is sturdy, has solid rubber grips , which is great so there is no sliding or losing one's grip, and is very well built, with welded joints and fully chromed finishing. I use it for my back workouts regularly, and it fits great onto the cables. I would highly recommend this both on quality and price, as well as seller reliability.I just received this single D-handle for my pulley system. What a huge disapointment ! The part with the hole that you use to attach it to your wire is welded crooked and the weld is gross and flakey. The hole is not even drilled in the center. The machining on the rotating part of the handled is not even, too deep on one side and not enough on the other and the hole thing is not even centered. The hole thing has not even been cleaned after the welds so there are black residues everywhere. It is like this hole thing has been made by a 12 year old kid learning to weld by himself in his garage and that doesn't know how to operate the tools he used. Even more, there is no preparation, no care, no cleaning, bad buts, bad welds, bad machining. This thing was build in less than 2 minutes by an unskilled worker (child in China ?) to make a quick buck. No quality control whatsoever. The only reason I probably won't return it is that it is too much hassle and it was only 11$. I just hope I will be able to use it for a few weeks before it breaks on me. 0 stars out of 5. I will report this to the seller to see what he does but I really don't expect nothing...For whatever reason, the rubber edges on the handle have a silvery speckled paint to them as if they were sprayed after the handle was attached to the ring.The finish on the ring isn't a bright chrome, but still appears durable.One downside is the slight squeaking as the handle rotates on the ring, but a lil dry lube will fix that.For the price, it's impossible to beat. I've seen many low end nylon straps with handles that cost more than this and fall apart.This is my second product from CAP Barbell. This one was AT LEAST brand new, seems solid, has bit of a smell from the rubber, but that seems to have dissipated and I’m sure will go away even further in time. I bought this during COVID-19, it was a good price and my options were very limited. The welds seem solid and the overall handle is solid, but like other reviewer‘s I noticed a silver paint on the welds which came off on my hands If my hands touch any of the weld joints. I’m sure I can remove this with a little bit of mineral spirits. For the price and using in home gym, it meets all my needs. Like I said my options were limited, and most of the time you can’t get these right now, so returning it, it’s not really an option. Overall I’m happy with it, and it’ll do the job, but I can’t give it five stars.
