Love it. Will buy another one soonI've been wearing minimalist shoes for the past year, and can't really seem to return to large heeled shoes. Unfortunately, the most stylish shoes usually have a bulky out-sole and/or a large heel. And most minimalist shoe companies have shoes that range from casual running shoes to something in between "not really dressy, but not really casual either" kinda shoe. For me, white sneakers are the perfect in between. To start, one thing these shoes have in common with minimalist shoes is that they're very flexible. Both can roll up into a ball, or folded like a taco. Another thing is that both are pretty low to the ground, these sneakers aren't quite the same. While minimalist shoes typically have no arch support and no elevated heel, these sneakers have JUST a little bit arch support and a teeny-tiny raised heel that isn't noticeable until you get a close look at it. The arch support isn't really a big deal, because it isn't really a lot, but the slightly raised heel is very noticeable on first wear. However, it doesn't make it uncomfortable, it's just odd to feels odd to have a small bump on the heel after wearing shoes that are pretty much flat. Walking in these sneakers do start to feel uncomfortable after walking about 2.5 miles, but nothing extreme or something like that. I haven't experience any foot pain wearing these sneakers or my minimalist shoes anytime wearing these, so I don't really have to worry about having sore feet. As for the quality, the upper canvas is quite thin, I would say at t-shirts levels of thin. So I wouldn't expect these to hold up to tears and or water resistance. I don't feel the ground as well as I can in minimalist shoes, due to the slight amount of cushioning it has, but you still feel a decent amount of ground when you walk. Since I live in a rainy, muddy environment, I'll definitely make an effort to keep these clean. Hopefully my review helps out.I bought a pair of these for training parkour in the gym, but ended up also using them for outside training as well. After about one year they were darn near destroyed, the orange peel bottoms were completely smooth and made ice and even rainy days a slippery nightmare. I love them. Did not expect to get a year of use out of them for $20. I have bought two more pairs since. They are cheap and I will continue to purchase them. The sole is surprisingly soft, extremely flexible, and also provides quite a bit of grip on many surfaces. Lacing is fine and provides a good snug hold for both my feet.Okay so here's to people with weird feet:One of my big toes is longer than the other and the cuneiform bones in my feet stick up quite a bit, making all other shoes pretty uncomfortable when wearing for hours at a time. The canvas provides a close fit and forms to your weirs feet with comfort.Sizing: Meaure your foot. Both your feet, actually, then convert to cm or mm and then go find a sizing chart somewhere on Google. For example, my foot measures real close to 10.5 inches, close to 270mm, so based on a chart I am a 44eur, or typically a US size 9.5. (My first pair actually said 270mm inside the shoe.) Perfect fit.Parkour: these will teach ya real quick to brush up on your landing techniques.Runners: I do not recommend running on concrete/pavement for long distances with these shoes. Keep your feet, especially your heals, low to the ground with your strides if you do run in them.Others: THIS IS A FLAT SOLE, MINIMALIST SHOE. IF YOUR BACK OR KNEES START HURTING STRENGTHEN YOUR CORE AND MAYBE GET CUSTOM INSERTS.I ended up buying 2 pairs of these because the first pair was too small. I wear a 9.5 or 9W US which I have found translates very well to a 43 EU. I have purchased many pairs of size 43 shoes and they fit well. These size 43 did not fit so well. they were narrow and short. This is not a big loss because I have 2 kids who are coming up in size and will be in a size 9 US in no time, so I will hang on to them and pass them along when the time comes. It is noteworthy that while these shoes do have a nice soft and flexible sole, they do not have a very aggressive tread, and so be careful walking on smooth but dusty/dirty surfaces such as big box stores. I wear them with my martial arts uniform (which is black) on the way to and from class. Very light use. They are good shoes and yes they teach you kung fu.The sizing chart is off with a lot of these types of kung fu shoes and you have to order a size up. I ordered a size up and the shoes are still a little tight. Order a size and a half or two sizes up for these shoes. The wrong sizing chart is the only reason this is a 4 and not a 5Work well, true to size. I ordered a men’s 9/women’s 10 and it fit perfect. I had maybe a half inch room at the top. If you need more room, go one size up.The shoe strings that came with these are entirely too long, I had to buy different strings before I could even wear them. Otherwise I would've been tripping over myself. The shoes are comfortable and true to size.A little tight, but good. Order a half Size/full size larger than listed.
