As long as you're not expecting perfection, you will love this light. The shape is a little wonky, but I think it adds to the handmade charm. Color is as pictured and just what I was hoping for. It is hardwired and comes with plenty of cord to adjust for height differences. It’s beautiful however some of the description and one of the photos makes it seem as if it’s a plug in and it’s not, it’s hard wired. Does not have 84 inch cord. Had to get creative and make it work. But otherwise, it’s beautiful. This pendant light was just what I needed for my tropical spa themed decor. I switched out the cord for a long “hemp” cord with a plug in end since I have a very high ceiling and no electrical in the ceiling where I wanted to hang it, so I installed in a “swag” fashion. It looks great! This light is really unique. It is big... but the color and natural material make it a welcome addition. I had a challenge hanging it. There is a lot of excess cord. And that it is big as a beach ball made for some irritation with adjusting length. It was difficult to.. "stuff" excess cord ..(prob a few feet)..into the the ceilings electrical compartment! I didn't want to bunch it in with the connected electrical wires. That is what you have to do though. It would have been much easier with a helper.Other than that frustration, It is really nice!I posted some pics...I used a 60 watt big round soft light. A warm light bulb. That cord could have gone to the floor plus! There a tightening bit you twist once you decide length you want. . Lastly.. I did hook.it up myself..not an electrical person. But wondered why previous light was attached to 3 wires. from ceiling..Black,white and copper. And this one only has a black and white. I didn't need to connect need the copper wire.I bought this as Used, but new in box. Advertised as electrical” PLUG IN”. It is not and is designed for a hardwire.Because I got it for a fraction of the price I will add a plug myself. But if you don’t know how you’ll have to have it hardwired. BUYER BEWARE.Ok so I have installed dozens of light fixtures and this one was a bizarre one. Basically they have set the fixture screws at the same width as the junction box, which is ok except the way it’s designed, you can’t use the fixture screws to connect to the J box. Ok that’s fine, I have extra fixture screws. But, since the fixture screws holes are the same width as the j box, it means you have to offset the fixture from center in order to get everything to work. Very weird design. The extra screws you need, nor a ground screw, are included. Yet, the include a seen of drywall screws with anchors... as if the light was intended to be screwed into the drywall instead of secured to the junction box. One of the strangest things I’ve seen. Oh, and the chrome is super shiny. Looks stupid but it’s for a rental so I’mnot too bothered. It’s 2019- brushed nickel or stainless is what fixtures are made of these days, especially when the design uses natural tones. In summary, looks fine, weird install, should be brushed nickel instead or chrome, should be $80I liked the aesthetic of this but for a bedroom with no other recessed lighting or anything, it was too little light emitted for our liking. We intended it for a baby’s nursery, so perhaps in a different room, it’d be fine. We returned this fixture.Beautiful basket light! The cord is sort of finicky so you’ll want to be careful with the fabric that covers it (can snag) but otherwise I love it.Wow..what a beautiful lamp.Very happy!received exactly as shown. larger than I expected. durable & qualityWell made.
