I owned the original Schwinn Airdyne for over 20 years and put over 20,000 miles on it in a basement that gets quite cool in the winter. I like it colder for exercise so never turn the heat up. For the first 5-10 minutes of my exercise sessions in the wither I would be chilled by the hefty breeze coming off the fan so I would pop the fender on until I warmed up. I purchased the new Airdyne AD6 and ordered the wind screen as well - expecting to need it. Oddly, there is no breeze coming off of this bike (unless you're standing in front of it).This wind screen is totally unnecessary. Save your money or at the very least, don't order it with the bike. Use the bike for a week or so and make your decision later.The product is simple plastic with elastic straps that hook to the fan cage. Super simple to install. I'd say the quality is fine but I paid $36.00 and that seems a little silly right now.Doesn’t quite fit my Airdyne, but with some minor modification it works. Definitely does it’s job and reduces the huge wind in my face.It was easy to install and can be moved easily. We have a several members of our group that have been in Cardiac Rehab and the Airdyne's are used there and they really help.Need to use it. Adjusting the seat to the proper heigth and alignment is necessary for proper use.was fine but I didn't really need it I like the wat the bike put's air on me when I ride it after all I have a lot of hot flashesNow my wife will actually use this Airdyne. she always hated the breeze coming up from that area. Now, No Worries! not expensive and easy to install.Great xbike. All was great until I used the bolt to tighten the seat. It did not tighten the seat then it stripped the nylon threads. Luckily I had a correct size galvanized bolt to tighten seat to post. Otherwise an awesome product!It works as advertisedHad to return. Wrong sizeWorks fine . The seat could use an adjuster for forward and back.Did not keep so I really can't give a fair review.
